First Card Of 2013...........

Well I've finally got around to creating a card and not only is it my first card made this year it's also my first card using my Silhouette Cameo...I love it...the Silhouette Cameo  I mean...LOL...!!

Hope everyone's weekend was a  good one...mine was a bit hectic...DH took a couple of plants from the front porch to put in the garden to catch the rain on Saturday and slipped on the wet tile steps and ended up breaking a bone in his foot. Had to get our neighbour to drive to the hospital because I don't drive...never learnt and it's been one major regret of mine...!!  DH is not a happy bunny though as he's had to cancel his golf  for this Thursday...but he's getting over it...!! LOL  Said neighbours took me to the shops this morning too...on their suggestion...we live in a valley and have no public transport so with DH not being able to drive I was so grateful of the help. He has to inject himself everyday though until he has his next appointment in a fortnight...I've never known that before for a "break"...I know my son didn't have to do that when he broke his leg a few years back...but that was in the UK...and things change I suppose....!!

Anyway I'll get to the task on hand and upload my card...hope you like....

 How it was made.................
Background Paper  -  Victorian Classic Patterned Papers - Paper Cellar Ltd.
Frame & Birthday Sentiment  -  Birds Cards.
Silhouette Cameo.
Mats cut using my Cuttlebug and assembled using foam pads.
Ribbon and stick on pearls were from my stash.

That's me for today I'm afraid...thank you for calling by...hope you come visit again soon...take care...!!

  1. Hi Maureen. Fabulous work on your card. I just love the Cameo myself, LOL. Recognised the file as one of Bird's straight away. Isn't she so generous? This looks great - very classy with that big bow to finish it off.
