And There's More...........

Wow am I on a roll or what...lol...probably not...lol...anyways the next two cards I'm going to upload are made up from Silhouette cut files designed by Rae Carr and bought again from CraftsuPrint........well of course...LOL

I've been spending most of my time these past few days printing off sheets, cutting out sheets...with and without Rob (Craft Robo)...and now are stacked in neat little piles waiting for me to put them together...will post as completed...!!

So here we go.........

An Assortment Of Cards Part 1......

Hi and a good afternoon to one and all.....that is if anyone is out there...LOL

Well my sister and her hubby are back in the UK...went back last Sunday...the last of my visitor's for this year...I love it when the family come over to see us. Going back to their stay though we had one humdinger of a storm...we picked them up from the airport on the Thursday and in the early hours of Friday morning the storm started...I wont go into a blow by blow account of it though suffice to say it wasn't very nice...we didn't have the terrible floods that occured for some because we live on higher ground but we were cut off from the village for a while...in fact we couldn't get anywhere because of road closures...we were without water for 6 days but fortunately didn't lose the electricity which was a big surprise.  Thankfully we didn't have any real damage either but did have a bit of clearing up to do.  We were so lucky because when you see and read about the devastation others experienced it's terrible... it made our experience pale into insignificance that I can tell you...!!  Things are beginning to settle down now and we are able to get to places again but there are still a lot of diversions in place as there are so many roads under repair or waiting to be repaired...one or two of them you just wonder how they are going to do it.

Now something a bit more uplifting...well sort of...this Christmas and the New Year we will be spending in the UK...yes, yes, yes...so that's something nice we have to look forward to...it will be our lovely Laila's first Christmas too.  I can't wait to have another little cuddle with her...we see her on Skype regularly but it's not the same is it...she's coming along great...she's 7 months now...can't remember if I said that in my last posting...I know I'm biased  but she's just gorgeous...!!!!!

And now to the matter in hand...upload some of my cards...so here goes.....

The silhouette cards were cut on my Craft Robo...he's so glad to have been dusted off and being loved again...LOL...!!  Almost forgot all sheets for the cards were purchased from CraftsUPrint...there is a link on the top of the right sidebar if anyone is interested.

Hola.......

It's been quite a while since I posted any updates here...5 months to be precise...time flies doesn't it...lots has happened since then...inluding the birth of our granddaughter but I already blogged about lovely Laila didn't I...!!
We've had lots of visitors again...and my sister and hubby are over here next week for 10 days...love it when they come over.
The weather has been absolutely scorching it's been the hottest year since we moved to Spain.  At times I was just beside myself with the heat but the temperatures have dropped thank goodness...it's still pretty warm but without that intense heat..!!  Laila had her first visit to see Grandma and Granddad in July...I was a bit worried at first because of the temperatures we were having but she was a star no problem at all...she's such a contented baby...can't believe she's six months old already...as I said earlier time just flies...!!

My crafting went into a bit of a slump this year...just a bit done here and there I'm going to upload a few bits and pieces that I got around to making.......

Firstly the following card "Window Pane" is a cutting file created by Penny Duncan and cut on my Craft Robo...and boy was he happy to be brought back into the light again...LOL...I really enjoyed making this and will definitely make it again.

Next...one or two digital scrapbook layouts...in no particular order lol........

 The LO above is from when Laila met her cousins Ryan and Mathew for the first time.

A few ATC's and tags made for PDA forum...for challenges and for fun........

It's A Girl................

Yes we now have a lovely new granddaughter...Laila Grace...I'm a bit late in getting round to blogging about it as Laila's now nearly three weeks old....!! I'm biased I suppose but she's absolutely gorgeous...she made her entrance 2 weeks late but she was worth waiting for...everyone is just over the moon with her. We didn't have that much time with Laila whilst we were in the UK with her being late...she was born on the Sunday as we came back to Spain on the following Friday...but have since seen her on Skype...!! What would we do without that brilliant piece of software...LOL

Although we've been back two weeks today...I haven't done any crafting yet apart from knitting Laila a cardigan and making the card below but I hope I'll be back in the not too distant future with something to show you.



Not that good a photo...don't know whether it's me or I need to get a new camera...my OH would probably say it's me...LOL...!!

A Very Very Quick Post........

I just wanted to pop on and quickly show you the card I had a request to make...my sister asked me to make it for hubby...hope she likes it.
I dont know when I'll next be on here because tomorrow we're going over to the UK for a month...we have a new grandchild due shortly as I mentioned in a previous post. Although I'm looking forward to spending time over there I'm being put off slightly by the weather forecast...Ugh....!!
