Flash Those Freebies......

It's been suggested by Paula at Pollycraftdesigns to flash our freebies............all will be explained!! LOL

We had to create a card using one of her many Friday freebies...the image I've used "Cherry Kisses Snowball" I've had for ages and coloured it a while ago thinking it would be used for one of my Christmas cards.....I was right...this is my first Christmas card this year and the one I'm entering in the challenge. Hope you like!



The image was coloured with Whispers Strokes (before I invested in my Promarkers) and everything else.....card, snowflakes, stamped sentiment, stickles and corner peel-offs came from my stash.

Pollycrafts Monday Challenge

Hi again.....as promised the new card.....I'm entering this into the Pollycraft Monday Challenge... "Pinkalicious". You had to use pink...naturally...as much or as little as you wanted...just as long as it was somewhere on your card!!

As you'll see for me the pink is the vellum cross-band, the sentiment backing, the glitter border around the image and the minute gem on the necklace.....hope it fits the bill.

Oh my, oh my..................

Hi.....I said that I'd be back shortly with something to show you when I posted last week...it isn't a card this time though I'm afraid......pop back tomorrow I'll be posting my first card for ages then.....today I want to show you a photograph of the "visitor" my husband fished out of the swimming pool yesterday.




Lovely looking fella isn't he.......NOT!! LOL

He's on his back in the photo...left him like that too...best not disturb!! LOL I dont mind the little lizards we get, they don't bother me...have a couple that live in the garden...or the big cricket type things we see from time to time but this latest "visitor" is a definate no no.....don't want to see many scorpions around the place thank you very much!!

Well as I said I'll be back tomorrow with a new card to show.....so until then I'll say thanks for popping by.....take care!!

I'm back in Blogland..........

I've had quite a long absence from "blogging" thats for sure.....but I'm back now and looking forward to having a really good catch-up.....it wont be so difficult to turn my attention to it either seeing as hubby is giving his undying attention to the TV and the World Cup.......LOL !!

Have had quite a busy time of it.....unfortunately not craft-wise though.....my sister and brother-in-law have been visiting us this last fortnight.....had a fabulous time......had a few trips out and about........soaked up the sun as you do.......there were a couple of days where the weather was a bit "iffy" but otherwise it's been fantastic. They've gone back to the UK today. We're going to miss them.....we always have a great time when they're here.......though its not all bad they're back again for 10 days at the end of September. (We got back from the airport a short while ago.....TV was turned on as soon as we got through the door...England's playing.....LOL !!!) My youngest son comes over with his girlfriend three weeks on Saturday so I will have to have a few intense craft sessions before then......LOL !!

On that note I will say bye for now just thought I'd make a quick visit to show I'm still around......will be back soon with something to show.....I'm going to have a bit of a blog hop I must have missed such a lot. Until then thank you for popping by.....and take care!!

Hi...this is another quick post from me today...will slow down soon...LOL...I've just finished my card entry to this week's card challenge at Phindy's Place....and once I've uploaded it to this post I'm going to have to get myself ready for Spanish Class...but firstly I have a bit of writing up to do before we go.....ugh!!

Blooming Charming......

Haven't posted for a while but I'm going to do a quick one now by showing the card I'm entering into The Creative Cottage challenge this week...the theme is as the title of this post states "Blooming Charming".







I used the original freebie kit from Creative Cottage..."Home Sweet Home"...the ribbon, brads and the charm were from my stash.
