Snowflakes Challenge Card.................

Hi hope you've had a lovely weekend and are still enjoying what's left of it.......!!  I had a great time this afternoon...we had a Skyping session with my gorgeous little granddaughter Laila...and her mummy and daddy of course...LOL...she's really coming on a treat...she's getting to be so comical.....I can't wait for Christmas so looking forward to being in the UK.

Anyways will now get on to posting said card for the following challenges....

Mojo Monday Challenge #315...............

Good evening all hope all's well...!!

I have a new challenge card to post tonight so whilst I have a few minutes free I'll get on with it...here goes...I hope you like............

I used an A5 card blank...snowflake digital background paper from Birds Cards...the image from Pollycrafts coloured with promarkers...sticky backed silver sparkly paper...pale blue and black card...the snowflake border is a cutting file from Instant Card Making Downloads, will have to check that though as I cut the file a while ago.  To finish off the card I used white Beads In A Bottle to represent snowflakes and blue for the snowflake centres, a cut snowflake, stickles and bakers twine.

This next card is the birthday card I made for my youngest grandson for next Tuesday. I used a cutting file that was downloaded from UKScrappers quite some time ago. The wording and the number 7 I did in Silhouette Studio.

Delicious Doodles Challenge #57..........

I'm afraid it's a very quick visit tonight folks so I can post a card for Delicious Doodles Challenge #57 "Golden Brown".....the "Thank You" image is a freebie from a while ago given by Teri and coloured as is the norm with my Promarkers.  The card and backing paper I used is from my stash...I embellished with hot fix nail heads, hot fix gems, a double cut-out butterfly also coloured with Promarkers and finished it off with a ribbon "bow".

Another Challenge Card.........

Hi all...hope your week's going well for you...mine's not too bad I'm pleased to say...got a bit more card making done and this new card is my entry for Delicious Doodles Challenge #56.  I used the digital stamp "Rosalee" designed by Teri Sherman...you may have seen I used this stamp on a card in a previous post...I just love it...!! As always the image was coloured with my trusty Promarkers...what else...LOL

 The card design is a cutting file by Rae Carr cut using white linen card and a yellow textured card...the topper part of it could be used on a normal type card I suppose instead of using it as an easel card...I don't think there would be a problem with the designer if I did that would you think...!!  Anyways here it is.....

As you can see I finished the card by embellishing with a seam binding bow, stick on pearls, an embossed sentiment and a fabric butterfly.  I have to say it does look better when you see it...my photography leaves a lot to be desired...LOL

Here Comes Santa...........................

Hi I'm just going to upload another Christmas card to show...another one for the pile...LOL

The cutting file is a design by Tina Fallon at Craftsuprint. I cut the base card using an A4 white linen card...backed the aperture with black textured card and cut the Santa and reindeer using silver mirri card...adding a couple of small snowflakes, gems and a bakers twine bow to finish it off...quick and easy but effective....!!  I had a bit of bother though trying to get a decent photo of it...mirri card isn't one of the easiest mediums to photograph...LOL...but perseverance paid off I suppose I got not too bad a photo...LOL

Christmas & Birthday............

Not long in between postings this time.....I must be getting better and I just hope it lasts...LOL

 I'm just popping in quickly today to upload two recently made cards for you to have a look-see. Both cards were made with files from Craftsuprint one a cutting file and the other a pyrimage sheet (hope that's the right spelling).....here goes....



This has been added to my slow growing Christmas card pile...daren't think of the number I still have left to make...will have to get a move on soon because as they say "time waits for no man" or woman as the case may be...LOL


It took me ages to find this sheet...my grandson is learning to play the drums at school and I wanted something featuring them...I usually base my birthday cards around their interests at the time...I hope he likes it....!!  I did a nice insert for the card too but had yet another one of my "senior moments" and didn't take a photo....doh!!

Birthday Card...UR 18..........

Hi just popped on to post the birthday card my sister asked me to make when she was visiting...although she was really happy with it on reflection looking at the photo I can see how I could have made it a bit better...but never mind its done now and is now in the UK.

My sister and hubby were our last visitors for this year...have had a very busy time since June...but I'm not complaining...I love it when they all start arriving...sometimes it's tiring but got to admit I love it...!!  I'd be really hurt if they didn't want to come...!!  Anyways I wont have to wait until next year to see them all again as hubby booked for us to go over to the UK for Christmas and the New Year...can't wait...!!

Well back to the task in hand......the card...hope you like.....
