Just a quick visit to show the birthday card I've made for my friend Bev who'll be reaching the BIG 50 very soon!! It doesn't really matter me telling you in advance of her birthday because she doesn't "blog".......LOL!!
I cut the butterfly card front on my Craft Robo from a freebie template from Carolyn at Cutting Time. I actually cut it out twice then cut the butterfly from the second one to decoupage the first....clear?........LOL!!.....punched the corners and backed it with Shortcuts self adhesive vellum. The pale lilac flowers are from Sara's Cards and the deeper lilac smaller flowers I punched out myself.....the card, brads, sentiment and the stickles used on the butterfly and the flowers on the wings were all from my stash.
Thanks for looking...hope you like...have a good weekend.
Take care.

Pop over and check it out! I'm keeping my fingers and everything else crossed.......LOL LOL !! The closing date for the candy is the 30th April at 10pm...UK time.
On a serious note now there's also a lovely digi stamp for sale at Pollycrafts..."Ronnie Relaxing"...which has been designed by Emma in memory of her father to raise funds for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance...every penny of the money received from the sale of the stamp will go to the charity!!
Thank you for reading this. Take care.

FSS Card Challenge
Hi.....this month's card challenge over at the Fred She Said Challenge Blog is a "VERY SPRING-Y" project...I'm hoping this card fits the bill...anyways this is my entry...
As required I used a Fred She Said image on my card...a pre-coloured daisy image which I also decoupaged although its not that obvious on the picture...and then stickled the flower center. The backing sheet is from the Victorian Classic paper-pad by Paper Cellar Ltd.....card, lace, ribbon, stick on pearls and the sentiment are from my own stash. The butterfly embellishment is one of a pack I bought in the Hobby Craft store on our recent visit to the UK.
My second "share" is a scrapbook layout that I started at Scrapbook Club last week......its of my eldest grandson Ryan when he visited the York Maze last year. I'm really trying with my scrapbooking...sometimes I think the page works...other times...well.......LOL !!
That's my "shares" for today...I'm now going to visit a few other blogs...then do a bit of crafting! Actually before I do that I think it would be better for me to get something to eat....LOL !!
Thank you for taking time out to visit my blog. Have a great weekend!!
Take care.

Pollycrafts Monday Challenge
This is my first time and my entry for the Pollycrafts Monday Challenge...it's my take on the sketch posted.
The image is a freebie digi stamp from Pollycraft Designs and which I coloured with water colour pencils. The backing papers.....the stripe paper was from Fred She Said and the multi colour spots paper was from one of The Lilac Garden's CD's. The flowers are from Sara's Cards and everything else...the card, stickles, brads and sentiment all came from my stash.
Thank you for looking!! Take care.

Another First For Me.....
I like to try something different craft-wise and in the past I've fancied trying my hand at Quilling but always thought it would be too fiddley to do. Well when in England I decided to buy some of the materials needed to just have a little play around and am now posting two photographs of my first 3 things made this week. I really enjoyed making them and found it not too fiddley after all. The greens in the dragon's colours look a bit iffy I think but I had to use what I have.....Lol!! I think my favourite make was the Easter cross.
Thanks for popping by and taking a little look...hopefully I'll be back soon with another update.
Take care!

Just A Quick Hello
Thought I'd just do a quick update whilst OH is watching the football!! Got back from our trip last Wednesday but unfortunately haven't had time to do much in the way of blogging...and even worse crafting!! Though I'm hoping to remedy that situation over the next few days...lol.
We had a lovely time in the UK...albeit tiring...but worth it...I had a lovely birthday too! Got to spend a lot of pennies on crafting goodies in Hobby Craft...I wont admit to how much I spent or how much time I spent in the store...lol lol...but it was a bit dodgy for the weight allowance for our return but all went well thank goodness!!
I've uploaded this birthday card which I made before we went away for my son Paul's partner Paula.
The decoupage image was a download from The Paper Craft Tutor...the embellishments were from my crafting stash. The sentiment is self explanitory...Spanish for Happy Birthday. lol Hope you like!
Thank you for looking...hope you pop in again soon!!
